Anna is ideally skilled to advise on communication strategies. She was press secretary to two New Zealand Prime Ministers, has worked as a government relations consultant and has provided media relations support to the Commonwealth Secretary General.

Anna has vast private and public sector experience in devising and implementing effective strategies for change communication, external and internal communications. She was internal communications manager at the New Zealand Rugby Union before joining Telecom New Zealand as Head of Internal Communications and Head of Sponsorship, with responsibility for teams in Australia and New Zealand.

Anna is one of the founding partners of Ideas Shop Ltd, providing strategic communications counsel to clients in the public and private sectors, and not-for-profit organisations. She also takes strategic communication workshops and speaks at conferences in New Zealand, Australia and the United States.

She has a Masters degree from the Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University, Chicago.
