
Tomas has more than a decade of experience in corporate communications. He has worked in both the private and public sectors, focusing on strategic communications, public affairs, media management, issues and crisis management and digital engagement.
He is passionate about helping organisations improve their communication and enjoys the challenge of communicating complex subjects simply to diverse audiences.
Tomas looks for creative solutions to communications challenges and is quick to realise opportunities for integrating new technology into communications strategies. He has worked with digital and online media since 1995 and sees technology continuing to redefine how organisations engage with their stakeholders and the public in the future.
He has spoken at conferences on integrating and evaluating social media activity and has held workshops to help organisations plan and implement their digital engagement with stakeholders.
He has worked with a variety of organisations, from government agencies to interest groups, and from businesses to not-for-profits.
Tomas holds bachelor degrees in law and arts (majoring in political science) from Victoria University of Wellington.
