Sam Halstead

Sam has extensive experience in media and public relations, working both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Sam has worked in marketing and communications roles with public and private sector clients and has an extensive knowledge of how to influence consumers in the marketplace through integrated marketing and communications.
A former journalist both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, Sam is an experienced writer and has excellent relationships with the news media.
Sam is currently involved in a number of key projects including public information campaigns for EECA and the Ministry for Culture and Heritage’s Going Digital programme.
He won a number of public relations awards including two Chartered Institute of Public Relations Scotland prizes and received two prestigious European SABRE award nominations.
Sam has a Bachelor of Communication Studies from Auckland University of Technology.
