Catherine is an experienced communications practitioner with specialist knowledge in digital engagement and media management.
Catherine had her first taste of publishing online during the dotcom boom over a decade ago. Most recently, she was a member of the digital communications team at 10 Downing Street where she focused on developing the Prime Minister’s online presence.
In between she has worked for news organisations in broadcast (radio and video) and print, including Radio New Zealand and the UK Press Association.
Catherine takes a creative approach to communication and has considerable experience developing online strategies, coordinating content across a range of platforms and ensuring that digital channels, including social media, are used at the right time and for the right purpose.
Catherine has a degree in political science and a graduate diploma in journalism.
