
Amanda has eight years’ experience in strategic communications, with an emphasis on change management and internal communications.
She has advised government agencies and corporates as they’ve undertaken change as a result of reviews, restructures and mergers.
Amanda has also worked with clients to lift engagement, engage staff around a new business strategy and identity, and drive business success through improved communication with staff.
Her knowledge of communications strategy, coupled with her attention to detail and strong relationship management skills, ensure her clients receive practical solutions, backed by experience.
Before joining Ideas Shop, Amanda was internal communications manager for a multinational company where she successfully managed communications during a period of change affecting many of its 10,000 staff.
Amanda is a current board member of IABC Wellington and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) majoring in marketing. She is a self-professed ‘political junkie’.
Amanda left on maternity leave in September 2011 and will be returning to Ideas Shop in the middle of 2012.
