She has recently completed a Bachelor of Communications at Massey University, with majors in Expressive Arts and Media and minors in Business Communication Management and Journalism. In her final year of study, Alicia was awarded two scholarships and travelled to Sacramento State University California where her academic efforts saw her placed on the Dean’s Honor Role. Her critical and creative writing skills have seen her nominated for the prestigious Massey University R.G. Frean Prize in English. 

Alicia has several years experience in customer service. Her organisational and multi-tasking capability enables her to deliver great administrative support to the Ideas Shop team to keep business moving behind the scenes. 

She first worked for Ideas Shop in late 2009 as a Massey University student intern.
