NZ PR blog: If you see a person on the street with a map, stop and help them

I truly believe that if you understand something well, you should be able to describe it simply. 

Regardless of artistic concept or scientific discovery, for everything there must be a starting point – a kernel or essence of purity – the simplest explanation that can be used to grab a person’s understanding before it is built on. 

Unfortunately, many people overlook simplicity to avoid ‘dumbing down’ information, or because they know the information so well it’s difficult to see it from another person’s point of view. The latter was something I was acutely aware of on a recent trip to Sydney.
